Union Olimpija blasted TCG Mercator 66-100 on Saturday to remain undefeated in the Slovenian League. Hasan Rizvic scored 18 points in 19 minutes to lead a balanced Olimpija attack as the club improved to 12-0. The visitors started the game with a 10-26 first period and then climbed to 25-55 by halftime en route to a cakewalk. Jasmin Hukic and Goran Dragic added 15 points apiece for the winners, while Jure Erzen scored 22 in defeat for Mercator, who committed a dooming 24 turnovers. Meanwhile defending champion Helios Domzale slipped to 9-4 after losing a 103-104 overtime decision to Geoplin Slovan. Eugene Clemons led the way with 27 points and Ljubo Samadan posted 20. Aljaz Janza paced Helios with 27 in defeat. In other games, Zlatorog Lasko topped Elektra Esotech 86-73 behind 31 points from Nejc Strnad and Krka bested Luka Koper 77-89 as Davor Marcelic netted 24.
