Olympic Benetton Fribourg downed Lugano Tigers 82-60 in Game 1of the Swiss League final on Tuesday to take a 1-0 lead in the best-of-five series. Erroyl Bing was a dominant factor in the match, amassing 13 points and 21 rebounds – 8 on the offensive end – while Harold Mrazek shot 4 for 6 from downtown en route to 24 points. Dusan Mladjan nailed 13 for the Tigers in defeat. The hosts led with a slim margin during the first half, which at 42-35. Lugano cut the gap to 56-52 early in the last quarter, before the hosts took off and finished the game by outscoring the visitors 26-8 to get the win.
