Lithuanian League Finals, Game 4: May 14, 2008

 Zalgiris Kaunas moved within one win of repeating as Lithuanian League champions after topping rival Lietuvos Rytas 92-79 Wednesday to take a 3-1 lead in the best-of-seven finals series. Damir Markota scored 20 to lead Zalgiris in Game 4. DeJuan Collins scored half of the home team’s points in an 8-2 charge to finish the first period ahead 27-23, a lead Zalgiris never relinquished. Marko Popovic stretched the lead to double digits early in the second period and Zalgiris later headed into the locker room up 56-46 at halftime. Kenan Bajramovic twice carried L. Rytas back within 6 points late in the third period, however Marcus Brown and Eurelijis Zukauskas kept Zalgiris comfortably ahead and L. Rytas never mounted a serious comeback after that. Brown scored 15 for the winners, Paulius Jankunas had 11 and Dainius Salenga 10. Bajramovic paced L. Rytas with 19, Hollis Price scored 18 and Matt Nielsen 10 in defeat. Game 5 is set for Saturday.
