Raiffeisen Panthers Furstenfeld knotted up the Austrian League Finals at 1-1 by beating the Oberwart Gunners 97-89 in Game 2 of the best-of-five series. Game 3 is set for Sunday at Oberwart. Samo Grum scored 21 and Milan Goljovic 20 for the Panthers, who made their move with a 23-12 third quarter. It was a game of runs early. The hosts led 20-14 before the Gunners charged to 22-24 and it settled at 27-26 after 10 minutes. Oberwart had a 0-10 charge to go ahead 31-38 midway through the second period only for the Panthers to tie things at 44-44. The visitors held a 50-52 halftime lead, but Goljovic heated up for the home side, which led 73-65 heading into the fourth quarter. Still it went to the wire as the visitors got within 81-79, but Grum took over down the stretch to even the series. Micahel Fraser added 18 for the winning side, while Jay Youngblood paced the Gunners with 23 and Domonique Crawford scored 19.
