Bosna ASA BHT regained the top spot in the Bosnia and Herzegovina League over the weekend by crushing Slavija, while Sloboda Dita stunned previous leader Igokea Partizan and Borac Nektar bested Siroki Prima pivo. Bosna improved to 9-2 – one win more than both Igokea and Siroki, which both entered the weekend tied with Bosna for the best record. Bosna pounded Slavija 100-67 on Saturday. Bosna started strong and led by double figures in the first period, but really ended the game in style by outscoring Slavija 53-28 in the second half. Dzenan Rahimic paced Bosna with 23 points, Lance Williams added 21, Goran Ikonic 19 and Edin Bavcic 10. Aleksandar Damjanovic netted 18 in a losing effort. Borac Nektar remained one win behind Sloboda Dita for the fourth and final playoff spot after beating Siroki Prima pivo 81-78. Zlatko Jovanovic scored 33 to lead Borac Nektar. Sloboda Dita used a strong fourth quarter to come from behind and surprise Igokea 87-82 as Milan Milosevic posted 29 points. In the weekend's other game, Zrinjski MC leapfrogged Grude with a 90-69 win that dropped the losing side to last place. Zdravko Vuckovic led the way with 22 points.
