Ovarense Aerosoles won pivotal Game 5 over FC Porto 69-57 to take a 3-2 lead in the best-of-five Portuguese League finals. The defending champs will have a chance to win their third straight Portuguese crown in Game 6 on Thursday. Greg Stempin scored 12 to lead Ovarense, which outscored Porto by 2-4 points in each of the four periods to slowly establish the lead. Cordell Henry added 11 and John Waller and Elvis Elvora had 10 each for the winners. Nuno Marcal paced Porto with 14.
