Union Olimpija cruised to an easy win in Game 1 of the Slovenian League Finals, blasting defending champion Helios Domzale 87-64. The hosts made it look easy by opening a double-digit lead in the first period and doubling Helios's output in the second, 24-12, to take a 50-28 halftime advantage. Domzale was never in it after that point. Marko Milic posted 18 points and picked up 4 steals for Olimpija, which outrebounded Domzale 33-22 and forced 20 turnovers. Ronnie Taylor added 13 for the hosts, while Chris Booker, Goran Dragic and Jasmin Hukic had 10 each. Dario Krejic led Helios with 9 points.
