Dutch League Finals, Game 6: May 29, 2008
Teddy Gipson - MyGuide Amsterdam The three-peat being attempted by defending Dutch League champion EiffelTowers Den Bosch will have to wait for a do-or-die seventh game of the playoff finals after MyGuide Amsterdam staged a comeback to win Game 6 by 72-82 on Thursday. MyGuide's victory tied the series 3-3 in games and sent both teams back to Amsterdam for Game 7 on Saturday to decide the title. Playing at home, Den Bosch seemed in control while leading 28-16 after one quarter on Thursday. Amsterdam turned things around quickly, however, winning the middle quarters by a total of 20 points and holding off Den Bosch's attempts to rally in the fourth. Rebounds and ball movement proved key to the victory. Amsterdam had 41 boards to 31 for Den Bosch and doubled the hosts in assists, 16 to 8. Teddy Gipson fired in 26 points for Amsterdam while burying 4 three-pointers. Tamien Trent added 15 points and Jeron Roberts 14 while Avis Wyatt had 12 pionts, 11 rebounds and 5 assists.
