 CSU Asesoft Ploiesti moved within one win of defending the Romanian League championship Thursday with a 94-90 win over challenger U Mobitelco Cluj-Napoca in Game 5 of the best-of-seven final series. Ploiesti now has a 3-2 lead in the series and will try to clinch its fifth straight Romanian League crown on the road Monday in Game 6. The game was the closest yet of the intense series, with Cluj leading by 2 heading into the fourth quarter, but Ploiesti charging back to win at home. Bojan Obradovic was the hero with an incredible 36-point, 8-rebound performance. Levente Szijarto added 16 points for the winner, Rashard Griffith had 12 and Adrian Blidaru recorded 8 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Zoran Krstanovic led Cluj with 22 points and 8 rebounds and LeVar Seals netted 17.
