The Czech League crown will stay put. CEZ Basket Nymburk won its fifth straight Czech League championship on Saturday by blasting Geofin Novy Jicín 93-70 in Game 5 of the best-of-seven finals series. After Novy Jicín’s Kenny Walker tied the score at 54-54 midway through the third period, the hosts rallied off 21 unanswered points to put the result out of doubt. Arthur Lee scored 8 during that run to lead Nymburk. The lead reached 26 later in the fourth quarter as Nymburk coasted to the title. Lee finished with 10 points and 5 assists for the winners. Radoslav Rancik scored 21 to lead Nymburk, Radek Necas added 19 points and 10 rebounds, Ladislav Sokolovsky had 18 and Monte Mack 11. Walker paced Geofin with 15 and Robert Sarovic added 14.
