Telekom Baskets Bonn evened things up in the German League Finals on Wednesday with an 81-71 home win in Game2 of the best-of-five series. Ronnie Burrell scored 21 points and Jeremiah Davis added 17 for the Bonn, which now travels back to Berlin for a pivotal Game 3 on Sunday. Burrell and Davis combined for 6 points in an 11-0 first-quarter run that helped the hosts take a double-digit lead. The advantage reached 13 early in the second before back-to-back Bobby Brown triples brought Berlin back to life. Julius Jenkins free throws with four minutes to play in the half cut the gap to 32-29, however Davis pushed Bonn to 45-37 by halftime. A Davis triple early in the third put Bonn in total control as the lead hit 16 points. And Berlin never got closer than 8 the rest of the way. The visitors biggest problem in the game was with turnovers – they committed 19, which were 8 more than the opponents. Bernd Kruel and Winsome Frazier added 10 points apiece for Bonn. Brown netted 21 points to lead Berlin, but committed 5 turnovers and recorded only 1 assist. Jenkins scored 12 and Goran Nikolic 10 in defeat.
