SLUC Nancy must win at home against Deutsche Bank Skyliners if it wants to remain in the running for the elimination round from Group D. Coach Jean-Luc Monschau's Nancy lost at Azovmash Mariupol to drop to 3-5. But the French side can still finish in front of Azovmash with two victories and two Mariupol losses. Monschau's team shot just 37% for the game, including 4-of-23 (17%) from long range, and forced just 8 turnovers - though it did out-rebound Azovmash 42-32. Small forward Ricardo Greer had a strong showing with 17 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists and 2 steals while power forward Cyril Julian added 10 points and 12 rebounds. But it was not enough as the rest of Monschau's starters combined for just 18 points. While Nancy is fighting for the elimination round, Deutsche Bank Skyliners has been eliminated for some time as one of three winless teams. Coach Murat Didin's Skyliners dropped to 0-8 despite giving Khimki all it can handle. The German side out-shot Khimki 41%-38% and won the rebounding battle 37-24. But Skyliners committed 16 turnovers and saw Khimki make 26-of-29 (90%) foul shots compared to just 10-of-12 (83%) on its part. Power forward Derrick Allen was a monster with 31 points and 11 rebounds while small forward Koko Archibong added 7 points, 10 rebounds and 3 assists. Didin finally had his full line-up with playmaker Pascal Roller, shooting guard Jimmy McKinney and Archibong playing together for the first time in the competition. But Jeff Greer converted a three-point play and Amadou Aboubaca's basket made it 71-58, which Skyliners trimmed to 71-60 after three periods. McKinney opened the fourth with a score and Archibong's three-pointer made it 73-67. Evtimov would convert a three-point play to cut the game to 75-70. But Bauer struck again from long range and the lead was 80-70 after two Dowdell foul shots with just more than a minute left.
