Benetton Fribourg and KK Buducnost meet up in a Group E showdown in Switzerland of teams looking to improve to 2-1. Fribourg struggled from the outside and were out-rebounded 36-26 in losing on the road at Swans Gmunden. Head coach Damien Leyrolles' Swiss boys from Fribourg did a good job taking care of the ball with just nine turnovers, but were clearly missing point guard Harold Mrazek, who scored a team-high 29 points in their opening victory. Without Mrazek, Leyrolles was left with a seven-man rotation as all five starters played at least 30 minutes. And that was evident as the Swiss shooters didn't have their legs in hitting just 23% of their three-pointers against Swans. Mrazek's status will play a critical role in Fribourg's chances, even though they are playing at home. Buducnost, meanwhile, come into the road game after evening their record at 1-1 with a tough win at Antwerp Giants. Head coach Dejan Radonjic's Montenegrins used their dominance inside to collect the win, out-rebounding the Belgians 29-17 and shooting 66% from inside the arc. While Radonjic can be pleased with 85% free throw shooting, he knows the team needs to improve on their outside touch (29%) as well as their ball-handling as they committed 22 turnovers.
