KK Hemofarm had an easy win over Brose Baskets at the Belgrade Nike International Junior Tournament on Friday morning by 80-58. The win lifts Hemofarm to the top of Group B after one game. Already in the first quarter, Hemofarm managed to pull away and never looked back. The winners were led by Luka Andjusic and his 19 points, Jovan Novak added 15 and two players posted 10 apiece - Luka Nikolic and Nikola Milutinov, who also pulled 10 boards -. For Brose Baskets, Dino Dizdarevic led the way with his 13 points while David Schmitt contributed 10.
Hemofarm was soon pulling away thanks to Novak. Dusan Kutlesic put an end to the fist period with a three for the 21-13. The second quarter was much more balanced, but Hemofarm alaways managed to maintain the cushion even though two free throws by Dizdarevic sealed a comeback to tie at 28-28. A final 7-0 run in the quarter made it 41-32 at the break. In the third period Hemofarm pulled away for good. The score was soon 47-32 making it a total 13-0 run, and Jovak scored by the end of the period for a 63-45 that turned into 63-47 after 20 minutes. In the last period the lead of Hemofarm was never threatened and the Serbian team, with 19 assists at the end of the game, cruised to the final win to start the tourney leading Group B.
