Hemofarm Stada stormed into the Euroleague Basketball Nike International Junior Classification Tournament Belgrade-JCT
semifinals by thrashing INSEP 57-68 in Group B on Saturday. Both teams joined Partizan mt:s in a three-way tie for first
place in Group B. Partizan was first (1-1, +13), Hemofarm second (1-1, -3) and INSEP third (1-1, -10). Nikola Milutinov and Luka Andjusic paced the winners with 19 points apiece. Anthony Racine had 13 points for INSEP while Boris Dallo added 10. INSEP will face Union Olimpija in the fight to finish fifth at 18:30 CET. Hemofarm is set to face Group A champion Crvena Zvezda in one of the semifinals at 20:30 CET.
Andjusic had 7 points in an 2-11 opening run to lead the game for the best part of the first quarter. INSEP answered with
with its own 16-2 run that Alexandre Chassang capped with a layup to get a 18-13 edge early in the second quarter.
Back-to-back layups by Mam Jaiteh and Damien Inglis gave INSEP its last lead, 30-27. Dusan Kutlesic led an 1-10 run that
allowed Hemofarm to get a 31-37 edge right after the break. Andjusic took over with three consecutive bombs from downtown
that broke the game open, 38-51. More three-pointers by Jovan Novak and Sreten Knezevic sealed the outcome, 40-59, at the end
of the third quarter. Nothing changed from that moment, as INSEP could qualify with a seven-point loss, Hemofarm kept a safe
lead from that moment until the final buzzer.
