In the second Group A game of the NIJT in Belgrade on Friday, Partizan survived USK Future Stars Prague by 60-68. Vukasin Vujovic led the winners with his 24 points plus 7 rebounds, Nikola Radicevic added 16 and Nikola Vujovic posted 11. For USK, Tomas Kyzlink led the way with 21 points and Martin Kriz had 12. The first quarter was real tight, with defenses playing at full throttle for a 10-11 after 10 minutes. With all aspects of the game really tight between both teams, Partizan managed to build a somewhat larger lead by halftime, 21-30, thanks to the free throws. USK didn't have any help from the 21 turnovers it had after 40 minutes and in the third quarter, things stayed much the same as Partizan even managed to increase the lead by one point with Vujovic dominating in the paint. The only quarter that Partizan didn't win was the last one, but USK's effort was not rewarded as it only managed to trim the deficit by two points for the final 60-68.
