With this win Barca grabbed a 2-0 record in Group B while KK Spars dropped to 0-2. Later on today the last games in the group will decide the two semi-finalists as Barca will take on Cedevita Zagreb and Spars will face Cajasol. Josep Perez was on fire with 31 points and five assists while Alexandr Zhigulin finished with 28 points. Xavi Moix added 16 points as the three players combined 75 points of their team. Adin Vrabac shinned with 25 points for the losing side and Doko Salic added 15 with 14 rebounds. Spars enjoyed the better start and with a 2-13 run late in the first quarter finished the first ten minutes with a 17-27 lead. Barca came back to the game with Zhigulin who scored 14 in the first half and set the score on 39-40 a bit before the break, but Spars used 10 points in a row going into early in the second half to feel secured. Not for a long time. Perez, who scored only 8 points in the first 23 minutes, stepped up and led his team to a great finish. His 23 points from the arc and around the rim made the difference. Spars still stood just two points behind inside the last five minutes but Moix scored six points in a row to lock the game.
