Elan Chalon adds scorer Rush to roster
Brion Rush joins Elan ChalonIn reaction to an injury to one of its starters over the weekend, Elan Chalon-sur-Saone quickly moved to add guard Brion Rush to its roster before the team's Turkish Airlines Euroleague debut this week. Rush (1.86 meters, 28 years old) signed for Chalon through November 25 to replace Marcus Denmon, whose weekend ankle injury is expected to sideline him for six weeks. Rush spent the last two seasons with Krasnye Krylia of Russia, averaging 13-2 points, 4 rebounds and 3.5 assists in the 2010-11 Eurocup regular season. Back in 2007-08, Rush made his Euroleague debut by averaging 15.4 points for another French team, Chorale Roanne, over 15 games.
