Regular Season Week 2 bwin MVP: Sonny Weems, CSKA Moscow
In the first overtime game of this Turkish Airlines Euroleague season, CSKA Moscow forward Sonny Weems walked away with a victory for his team and bwin Week 2 MVP honors due to a career-best performance – and the fifth-best by any CSKA Moscow player in competition history. Weems was all over the place under the bright lights of Pionir Arena in leading his team to a 71-76 road win in an intense showdown. He scored 8 points in the final three minutes, including 6 free throws without a miss, to put the victory on ice. When the dust settled, Weems had finished the game with 30 points – while incredibly missing only 4 shots – plus 3 rebounds, 3 steals and 6 fouls drawn for a performance index ranking of 38. Jordan Farmer of Anadolu Efes Istanbul had the second-best index rating of Week 2 after leading his team to a 98-72 home win over defending champion Olympiacos with 25 points on 4-of-4 three-point shooting, 8 rebounds and 9 assists, good for an index rating of 36. Lukasz Koszarek of Asseco Prokom Gdynia, Steed Tchicamboud of Elan Chalon-sur-Saone and Curtis Jerrells of Besiktas JK Istanbul, each with a 26 index, rounded out the top five individual performances of the week.

Individual highs: Shelden Williams, 13 rebounds
Weems was also this week's top scorer with 30 points against Partizan. Farmar and Weems are the regular season’s best scorers at 22 points per game. Shelden Williams of Elan Chalon led all rebounders by pulling down 13 in his team's road loss at Alba Berlin. Aron Baynes of Union Olimpija is the best rebounder of the competition thus far with 12 boards per night. Farmar dished 9 assists, more than anyone else this week, but Jerel Blassingame is the Euroleague's assists king thus far at 9 per game. Ricky Hickman of Maccabi Electra, Milos Teodosic of CSKA and Dejan Musli of Partizan each collected 4 steals in Game 2. Teodosic is tied with Marcus Slaughter of Real Madrid and Ronnie Seibutis of Lietuvos Rytas tie for first place in the league with an average of 3 steals per night. Luka Zoric of Unicaja Malaga had 5 blocks in his team's road win against Asseco Prokom and is now tied with Randal Falker of Besiktas JK Istanbul atop the regular season standings, each with 2.5 blockss per night. Four players - Malcolm Thomas (14 points, 11 rebounds), his Maccabi teammate Lior Eliyahu (11 points, 11 rebounds), Williams (14 points, 13 rebounds) and Baynes (14 points, 12 rebounds) - registered respective double-doubles this week.
