Anadolu Efes loses Barac for 4-6 weeks; Batista returns
Stanko Barac - Anadolu Efes_35606Anadolu Efes Istanbul announced Wednesday that center Stanko Barac will miss the next four-to-six weeks with an elbow injury. Barac is slated to undergo a surgical procedure later in the day on his left elbow. He has averaged 7 points and 2.5 rebounds in 12 minutes in two Turkish Airlines Euroleague games this season. The club will go in house for his replacement by activating Esteban Batista, who was already under contract, but had not suited up for a Euroleague game this season. Batista (2.01 meters, 29 years old) averaged 5.1 points and 4.3 rebounds in 16 minutes over 16 Euroleague appearances last season.
