Partizan mt:s Belgrade moved to shore up its backcourt Tuesday by signing tall point guard Nemanja Gordic for the rest of this season and next. Gordic (1 meter 95, 24 years old) arrives from Lottomatica Roma, where he spent the last two seasons. His time in Roma included six games in the 2010-11 Turkish Airlines Euroleague in which Gordic averaged 9.7 points and 2.5 rebounds per game, shooting 46.7% from three-point distance. Gordic's previous Eurocup experience consisted of three seasons with Buducnost Podgorica between 2007 and 2011. In the first two of those, he averaged 9.7 points, but in 2010-11, he played only 41 minutes total. Last season in the Italian league, Gordic scored 9.1 points per game over 32 games. He was signed over the summer by another Eurocup team, Azovmash Mariupol of Ukraine, but was not registered to play by that team in the competition.
