Hall-of-fame Croatian center Kresimir Cosic coached AEK in the late '80s and former NBA all-star Rolando Blackman has dressed in the team's yellow jersey...Reached the Euroleague final in 1998 under legendary coach Yannis Ioannidis, but lost the final to Kinder Bologna...In 2002, led by Michalis Kakiouzis, Dimos Dikoudis, Nikos Zisis and Nikos Chatzis, AEK won the Greek League title after a 32-year drought, beating Olympiacos 3-2 in the finals despite having lost the first two games. It was the only time a team accomplished such a turnaround in the Greek League finals.
