Top 16, Round 2 disciplinary sanctions

Euroleague Basketball has announced disciplinary sanctions pertaining to incidents that occurred in Round 2 of the Turkish Airlines Euroleague Top 16. The sanctions are based on infractions of the competition by-laws that all teams are aware of and obliged to fulfill. The following sanctions were handed down for Top 16 Round 2:

- Fenerbahçe Ulker Istanbul  has been sanctioned with a fine of 3,000 Euros for the throwing of objects on to the playing area in its home game against FC Barcelona, under Article 28.2, paragraph (g) of the Euroleague Basketball Disciplinary Code.

- Mr. Guy Pnini has been sanctioned with a fine of 13,000 Euros, for committing a physical aggression against Mr. Aleks Maric, on occasion of the game Maccabi Electra Tel-Aviv – Lokomotiv Kuban Krasnodar, under Article 26.1, paragraph (a) of the Euroleague Basketball Disciplinary Code.
