The former Euroleague MVP compiled a performance index rating of 31, the best among all players on winning teams in Top 16 Round 5. Teodosic was the game’s top scorer with 24 points, as he knocked down a career-best 6 of his 10 three-point attempts, while going 1-for-3 for two points, and 4-for-4 from the free throw line. The playmaker also had 5 assists, 5 rebounds and as many drawn fouls for the third weekly MVP honor of his career. Tarence Kinsey of Partizan NIS Belgrade had the best index rating of the week – and the third-highest of any player this season – with a career-high 38 in a home loss to Lokomotiv Kuban. Kinsey netted a career-best 32 points, along with 5 rebounds, 3 steals and 8 fouls drawn. Next among this week's best performances was Carlos Arroyo of Galatasaray Liv Hospital Istanbul, who had an index rating of 28 by virtue of scoring 22 points, dishing 9 assists and grabbing 3 rebounds in victory over Zalgiris Kaunas. Martynas Pocius of Zalgiris finished with a performance index rating of 27 after collecting 26 points and 4 rebounds in that same game. Kinsey led all Top 16 Round 5 scorers with 32 points, the best scoring output of the current Euroleague season. Kinsey is now the Top 16’s leading scorer with 20.2 points per game. Keith Langford of EA7 Milan leads the competition among qualified players with 16.7 points per night. Vladimir Stimac of Unicaja Malaga pulled down 14 rebounds, making him the only player in double figures this week. Stimac is fifth in the Top 16 with 6.8 rebounds per game. Pops Mensah-Bonsu of Galatasaray is the Euroleague's leading rebounder with an average of 9.0 boards. His teammate Arroyo dished 9 assist, the best of the week. Dimitiris Diamantidis of Panathinaikos Athens remains in the season-long lead with 7.7 assists per game. David Moss of EA7 Milan had 4 steals to top the weekly charts. Jamon Gordon of Anadolu Efes leads the Euroleague with 1.9 per game. Four players had 2 blocks – Stimac, Mensah-Bonsu, Lamont Hamilton of Laboral Kutxa, and Bryant Dunston of Olympiacos Piraeus.
