Fenerbahce's big man Vidmar out with knee injury
Gasper Vidmar - Fenerbahce Ulker - EB13Fenerbahce Ulker Istanbul center Gasper Vidmar will miss the rest of the season after injuring his knee on Thursday. In Top 16 Round 5 road loss against EA7 Emporio Armani Milan, big man Vidmar (2.10 meters, 26 years old) left the game late in the second quarter and never returned. Medical tests revealed ACL and meniscus injury that will require surgery and sideline him until the end of the season. A seven year Euroleague veteran, Vidmar started in 13 out of 15 games this season, averaging 5.2 points and 4.3 rebounds.

In addition to losing Vidmar, Fenerbahce is also expected to be without Luka Zoric for 2 weeks after he sustained abdomen injury early in the same game. It means that Fenerbahce, which started the Top 16 with 1-4 record, is left without a true center in the paint as the team's frontcourt has already been depleted by the absence of Oguz Savas who is yet to play a game this season.
