The injury bug has continued to hit Fenerbahce Ulker Istanbul as rookie point guard Kenan Sipahi will likely miss the rest of the Turkish Airlines Euroleague season after breaking his arm in a Turkish Cup game on Wednesday. Sipahi (1.97 meters, 18 years old) is expected to miss three months of action after getting hurt during Fenerbahce's quarterfinal Turkish Cup victory over Trabzonspor Medical Park in Ankara. Sipahi had started eight regular season Euroleague games for Fenerbahce, averaging 3.9 points and 1.6 assists in 16 minutes per game during that phase. In the Top 16, his playing time dropped to less than 5 minutes per game. Sipahi's injury follows Fenerbahce losing its starting center, Gasper Vidmar, to a long-term injury while another big man, Luka Zoric, is also out. Fenerbahce returns to Euroleague action on Thursday, February 13, hosting Laboral Kutxa Vitoria in the Game of the Week for Top 16 Round 6.
