Real Madrid's Draper breaks arm
Dontaye-Draper-Madrid-eb13If Real Madrid is to return to the Final Four, it must do so without point guard Dontaye Draper, who will be sidelined for the remainder of the team's playoffs series against defending Turkish Airlines Euroleague champion Olympiacos Piraeus due to broken bone in his forearm, the club announced Wednesday. Draper was injured in Game 1, leaving the game in the third quarter. Draper has a fracture in his right ulna, one of the two long bones in the forearm, and is expected to be sidelined at least for the entire series. Draper, who earned 2010-11 Eurocup MVP honors with Cedevita Zagreb, has averaged 1.7 points, 1.3 assists and 0.8 steals in 20 Euroleague games this season. He ranks second overall in steals per 40 minutes (2.85).
