Fenerbahce Ulker Istanbul continued its offseason roster building on Wednesday by reinforcing its backcourt with the reigning Eurocup MVP, shooting guard Andrew Goudelock, who signed a two-year deal. A true scoring machine, Goudelock (1.91 meters, 25 years old) had a fantastic rookie campaign on European soil last season, helping Unics Kazan reach the Eurocup Finals. He scored in double figures in all but one of the 24 games he played in competition, finishing the season ranked fourth in scoring with 18.8 points per game and ninth with 2.3 three-pointers made per game. He also averaged 3.1 assists and 2 rebounds. It helped push Unics all the way to the finals and earned Goudelock the Eurocup MVP award as part of the All-Eurocup First Team. For Goudelock, MVP honors are somewhat of a habit. Prior to becoming a Eurocup MVP, he won the NBA Development League's MVP trophy the season before that, and was named the VTB United League's 2013-14 regular season MVP – making him the most valuable player of his league three times in less than a year. Goudelock, previously played for Los Angeles Lakers of the NBA over the period of two seasons and split his time in the NBA D-League between Rio Grande Valley and Sioux Falls.
