Russian powerhouse CSKA Moscow announced the signings of two of its top prospects, forward Alexander Gudumak and shooting guard Artem Komolov, to five-year deals. Both players spent most of the last season with CSKA’s youth team. Gudumak (2.03 meters, 21 years old) has made one Turkish Airlines Euroleague appearance in his career. He averaged 15.6 points, 6.3 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.8 steals for the Under-23 team. Komolov (1.94 meters, 21 years old) had 9.9 points, 2.8 assists, 2.5 rebounds and 1.3 steals for that team before finishing the season with second division champion Avtodor, for whom he averaged 2.0 points in 16 games. Both players are expected to be on-loan next season.
