AJ Milano brings in Reece Gaines
Reese GainesArmani Jeans Milano made a big signing in preparation of its return to the Euroleague by bringing in Reece Gaines. The American swingman arrives from Angelico Biella, where he was a key piece in helping the team finish in sixth place and taking eventual finalist VidiVici Bologna the distance before losing in five games in the Italian League quarterfinals. Gaines averaged 16.7 points per game during the regular season and 18.6 in the playoffs with Biella in what was his first season in Europe. He previously spent three seasons in the NBA with the Olralndo Magic, Houston Rockets and Milwaukee Bucks. Gaines launched his career at the University of Louisville, where he was named a third-team All-American in 2003 as a senior after averaging 17.9 points and 5 assists per game.
