The ULEB Cup MVP is ready to take his shooting skills to the Euroleague, as Milan Gurovic signed a two-year deal with perennial Polish League champion Prokom Trefl Sopot. Gurovic (207, 32) arrives from Crvena Zvezda, where he averaged a league-best 25.9 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.5 steals in 14 ULEB Cup games this season. He helped Zvezda to reach the ULEB Cup quarterfinals and the Serbian League finals this season. Gurovic has also played for Unicaja, DKV Joventut and Barcelona in Spain, Vojvodina and Partizan in Serbia, as well as for Peristeri and AEK Athens in Greece. Gurovic helped Barcelona to win the Spanish League in 1999 and reach the Euroleague Final Four in 2000. He has also been a regular member of the Yugoslavia and Serbia and Montenegro national team. Gurovic took gold with his national team in the 2002 World Championships, as well as in the 2001 European Championships. He will carry on filling the baskets in Prokom Trefl from now on.
