Nikos Hatzivrettas - Panathinaikos It didn’t take more than few minutes for Panathinaikos and shooting guard Nikos Hatzivrettas to agree to terms and extend their relationship for another two years. Hatzivrettas (195, 30) is ready to enter his fifth season with Panathinaikos and helped the Greens to win its first-ever Triple Crown - Euroleague, Greek League and Greek Cup titles - in arguably the best season in club history. Hatzivrettas averaged 7.9 points in 22 Euroleague games this season. He grew up with Aias Evosmou and also for Iraklis and CSKA Moscow before joining the Greens. He was the Greek League top scorer in 2002 (22.2 ppg.) with Iraklis, and then helped CSKA to win the 2003 Russian League title and reach the Euroleague Final Four in Barcelona. So far, Hatzivrettas has won four consecutive Greek League titles, three Greek Cups and this year's Euroleague. He also helped the Greek national team to win EuroBasket 2005 and get the silver medal at the 2006 World Championships.
