One of the top prospects in Slovenian basketball is ready to make his Euroleague debut, as Fenerbahce Ulker has officially announced that forward Emir Preldzic inked a multi-year deal with the back-to-back Turkish League champion. Preldzic (206, 19) arrives from Geoplin Slovan, where he averaged 10.3 points and 5.3 rebounds in 26 Adriatic League games this season. He started his career in Triglav Kranj before joining Slovan in summer 2006. Preldzic also helped the Slovenian under-20 national team to win the bronze medal at the European Championships in Izmir, Turkey. He averaged 20.3 points and 9.4 rebounds in 8 games, becoming one of the best players in the tournament.
