EA7 Milan brings aboard scorer Brooks
August 8, 2014
EA7 Emporio Armani Milan continued adding talent to its roster by signing swingman MarShon Brooks to make his Turkish Airlines Euroleague debut next season. Brooks (1.96 meters, 25 years old) split last season playing 35 games for three NBA teams - Boston, Golden State and the Los Angeles Lakers - with whom he averaged 4.5 points and 1.5 rebounds in 9 minutes per game. Brooks also spend time last season with NBA D-League teams Maine and Santa Cruz. Prior to last season, he had opened his pro career playing two years for Brooklyn of the NBA, starting 47 games in the 2011-12 season and averaging 12.6 points, 3.6 rebounds and 2.4 assists on his way to being named to the all-rookie second team. The following year, he came off the bench in 73 games to average 5.4 points. Prior to turning pro, Brooks had a four-year career at Providence College, being named third-team all-American in the last of those.
