Olympiacos stays as the most active Euroleague team in the off-season market. On Thursday, the Reds officially confirmed that guard Panagiotis Kafkis inked a two-year deal with the team. Kafkis (195, 27) arrives from Panionios Forthnet, where he averaged 6.3 points, 3.2 rebounds and 2.7 assists in 24 Greek League games last season. He has also played for Apollon Patras, Makedonikos and Ilysiakos, as well as for the Greek national team in the 2005 Mediterranean games. Kafkis helped Makedonikos to make it all the way to the 2005 ULEB Cup finals, that his team lost against Lietuvos Rytas, as well as helping Panionios to reach the Greek League semifinals this season.
