Fenerbahce keeps Will Solomon
Turkish League champion Fenerbahce Ulker has officially announced thet combo guard Will Solomon has extended his contract for two more years, until the end of the 2008-09 season. Solomon (187, 29) averaged 13.6 points on 88.9% free throws and 3.8 assists in 11 Euroleague games last season, and helped Fenerbahce Ulker to lift the Turkish League trophy, sweeping Efes Pilsen in the best-of-seven finals. He has also played for Efes in Turkey, Hapoel Migdal and Maccabi Elite in Israel, Aris in Greece and the Memphis Grizzlies in the NBA. Solomon has been a winner everywhere he has been in Europe. He won the 2005 Turkish League title with Efes, lifted the 2006 Israeli League title with Maccabi, helped Aris to win the 2003 FIBA Champion Cup and also won the 2004 ULEB Cup with Hapoel Migdal.
