Busy Unicaja also adds Davor Kus
Davor Kus - Cibona Last year's Final Four force Unicaja keeps putting together a deep roster for the upcoming 2007-08 season. On Sunday, Unicaja announced that Davor Kus inked a two-year deal with the Spanish powerhouse, with a team option to extend it until the end of the 2009-10 season. Kus (190, 28) arrives from Cibona, where he averaged 13.6 points on 91.5% free throws (75-of-82) and 3.1 assists in 14 Euroleague games, playing almost 35 minutes per night. He ranked second in free throw accuracy in the regular season while making 20 more free throws during that phase than any other player in the league, including a 17-of-17 foul shot perfomance against Union Olimpija in Ljubljana. Kus has also played for AEK in Greece, as well as for Susak and Rijeka in his native Croatia, where he has also been a member of his national team. In his six seasons with Cibona, Kus has helped the team to win five Croatian League titles between 2001 and 2007. Unicaja had a busy weekend, as not only it signed Kus, but also added power forward Marcus Haislip and extended center Boniface N'Dong.
