Tau tabs Will McDonald
Will McDonald (photo: EnCancha.com) Euroleague powerhouse Tau Ceramica made its first major move of the off-season by inking power forward Will McDonald to a three-year contract. McDonald (207, 27) arrives from MMT Estudiantes, where he averaged 14.6 points and 6.6 rebounds in 34 Spanish League games and helped Estudiantes to reach the FIBA EuroCup final four. McDonald has also played for Gran Canaria in Spain and Chalon in France since finishing his college career at the University of South Florida. McDonald helped Chalon reach the French League semifinals in 2004. Despite his previous ULEB Cup experience with Gran Canaria and Estudiantes, McDonald will make his Euroleague debut with Tau.
