Fenerbahce Ulker inks Vidmar

Fenerbahce Ulker announced the signing of Slovenian center Gasper Vidmar from Geoplin Slovan on a four-year deal. Vidmar (210, 19) averaged 13.9 points, 7.1 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game for Geoplin Slovan in the Slovenian league, and 11.2 points and 5.7 boards in the Adriatic League last season. He posted 15.9 points and 9.8 rebounds for his national team at the European Under-21 Championships, held in homeland Slovenia. Vidmar is the fourth foreigner on the Istanbul side, joining countryman Emir Preldzic, who signed last month.
