German champion FC Bayern Munich suffered a significant blow this weekend, learning it has lost a backup point guard Vasilije Micic. Young Serbian international is expected to miss six weeks with a partially torn elbow ligament suffered in the game against Panathinaikos Athens on Friday. Micic got injured at the start of the second half, when he was hit in the arm while playing defense. He has played in 6 games, mostly coming off the bench in his Turkish Airlines Euroleague debut season, and averaging 18 minutes on the floor he posted 7.5 points, 3.2 assists and 1.5 rebounds per game. Micic is the third Bayern guard to go down this season, after injuries to Bryce Taylor and Anton Gavel. Bayern holds 1-6 record in Group C, as it is trying to make a final push for a place in the Top 16.
