Cibona Zagreb announced on Thursday its second addition for the following season, playmaker Tre Kelley, who arrives from the University of South Carolina. Kelley (22, 188) averaged 18.9 points, 5.1 assists and 2.6 rebounds in over 36 minutes per game last season, his fourth with the Gamecocks. He was honored with the prestigious Frances Pomeroy Naismith Award, which goes to the NCAA's top shorter-than-average senior player. Among previous winners of the award are Euroleague stars Scoonie Penn and Tyus Edney. Kelley was also selected to the All-Southeastern Conference first team and named the team MVP. He finished his college career second on South Carolina's alltime games played list and third alltime in assists and three-pointers.
