AJ Milano tabs Ansu Sesay from Napoli
Armani Jeans Milano announced Thursday that forward Ansu Sesay has joined the team from Eldo Napoli. Sesay's (203, 31) athleticism promises to add another dimension to the diverse Milano roster. He made his Euroleague debut for Napoli last season, averaging 10 points, 4.8 rebounds and 0.9 blocks in 12 games. His numbers improved to 12.5 points and 6 rebounds per game in the Italian League. Sesay spent the majority of his career in the United States, playing in the NBA for the Seattle Supersonics and Golden State Warriors and for the Rockford Lightning, Quad City Thunder and Greenville Groove in semi-pro leagues. Sesay moved to Europe for the first time in January 2005, signing for Basket Roseto.
