Russian champs CSKA Moscow announced a couple of roster moves on Friday. First, the Russian club extended guard Anton Ponkrashov's deal for three more years. However, Ponkrashov will be sent on loan to BC Khimki where he will be able to play in the ULEB Cup. Last season, Ponkrashov (21, 200) played 22 Euroleague games averaging 3.5 points and 1.4 rebounds. In exchange, CSKA will get back guard Alexey Shved (18, 196) from Khimki, where he spent the last half of last season as a part of the Oscar Torres trade. In Khimki, Shved averaged 1.2 points, 1 rebound and 1.3 assists per game. But signing action didn't end there for CSKA as it also announced the addition of young forward Artem Zabelin (19, 215) for the next five years. Zabelin arrives from Avtodor Saratov of the Russian League as last December he had already had two weeks of tryouts with CSKA. In last summer's U18 European Championships, Zabelin averaged 4.1 points and 3.6 rebounds per game.
