Aris TT Bank announced Thursday that Lithuanian shooting guard Simonas Serapinas has extended his contract for two more seasons. Serapinas (197, 25) didn’t start well last season in his first with the club, but came on late at the end of the regular season and in the postseason, averaging 4.8 points and 1.8 boards. He grew up with LKKA Atletas Kaunas and has also played for Alita Alytus, Nevezis Kaideiniai and Zalgiris Kaunas before joining Aris. Serapinas won a pair of Lithuanian National Leagues and one Baltic League with Zalgiris and was a member of the Lithuanian national team at the 2005 European championships.
