Virtus Bologna completed an all-Italian frontcourt with the signing of power forward Luca Garri to a three-year contract. Garri (207, 25) arrives from Lottomatica Roma, where he averaged 5.7 points and 4.8 rebounds in 19 Euroleague games last season. Garri won the silver medal with the Italian squad at the 2004 Athens Olympic Games and was recently called up to the national team ahead of the upcoming European championships in Spain. In Bologna, Garri will wear his fourth pro jersey. He grew up with Livorno from 1998 to 2004 and played the 2005-2006 season in Biella, being loaned from Lottomatica Roma. After reaching a one-year deal with Roberto Chiacig, Virtus has completed its big man rotation with Guillerme Giovannoni, Andrea Michelori, Andrea Crosariol and Garri and Chiacig.
