Union Olimpija Ljubljana has made up for a late start to its offseason roster building by signing small forward Jasmin Hukic for a second tour of duty at the club. Hukic (204, 27) is the club's third signing in the last week. He arrives from Polish champion Prokom Trefl Sopot, where he posted 7.1 points and 3.3 rebounds per game in 19 Euroleague appearances last season. Hukic previously suited up for Olimpija from 2001 through 2003, serving as the club's sixth man in the second of those two seasons and averaging 9.6 points in 20 Euroleague games. He helped Olimpija win the 2002 Slovenian championship, the 2002 and '03 Slovenian Cups and the 2002 Adriatic League. Hukic grew up with BC Sloboda Dita Tuzla in his native Bosnia-Herzegovina and has also played for Hapoel Tel Aviv in Israel, Hemofarm Vrsac in Serbia and Ural Great Permin Russia. Among the highlights in his career are winning the 2000 Bosnian League championship, the 2005 Adriatic League, the 2006 Fiba EuroCup Challenge, the 2007 Polish championship and the 1999 and 2001 Bosnian Cups. Hukic represented his native Bosnia at the 1999, 2001, 2003 and 2005 European Championships.
