Euroleague debutant Chorale Roanne has moved quickly to spell the injured Kendall Dartez, by signing big man Norman Nolan to a six-week deal. Nolan (203, 31) has had a rich European career, playing for teams in Italy (Avelino, Roseto, Varese, Teramo and Legea Scafati), Spain (Fuenlabrada) and Greece (PAOK, Maroussi). Last season he split time between Teramo, where he averaged 13.1 points and 6.5 rebounds in 15 games, and Scafati, where he had 11.4 points and 5.4 boards in 19 appearances. Nolan could make his first-ever Euroleague appearance when Roanne opens the season
at Brose Baskets on October 25.
