Injury-rattled Tau Cermaica has bolstered its frontcourt with the signing of forward Linton Johnson to a two-month contract. Johnson (203, 27) arrives from the New Olreans Hornets of the NBA, where he averaged 4.2 points and 3 rebounds over 13 minutes in 54 games last season. The athletic big man has spent parts of four seasons with four different NBA teams since finishing his college basketball career at Tulane University. He is best known as for his tough defense and rebounding skills. James Singleton, the man originally slated to start at power forward for Tau, could miss the entire season after rupturing his ACL in the preseason.
