Olimpija inks Chris Booker and Luke Anderson
Union Olimpija Ljubljana has made a pair of moves ahead of the start of the Euroleague season, signing big man Chris Booker and rookie swingman Luke Anderson. Booker (25, 208), who signed a three-month deal, spent the past two of the past three seasons in Turkey after playing college basketball at Purdue University. Last year he averaged 8.4 points and 5.8 rebounds in 30 games for Tofas Bursa. Anderson (25, 195), who signed for one month, finished his college career at Minnesota State University at Mankato in the spring. He led his school with 19.1 points on 37.6% three-point shooting and 4.5 rebounds in 33 games last season. The club has also brought in rookie guard Justin Cage on trial.
