Veteran scoring guard Melvin Booker
returned to the Euroleague by signing with Armani Jeans Milano for the
remainder of the season. Booker (185, 35) arrives from Khimki, where
he averaged 9.9 points and 4.8 assists in 12 ULEB Cup games last
season. He already played for Milano during the 1998-99 season,
averaging 17.8 points and 3.8 rebounds in the Italian League, and has
also played for coach Attilio Caja when both joined forces at
Scavolini Pesaro. Booker has also played for Ulker in Turkey, Grand
Rapids Hoops in the CBA, as well as for the Houston Rockets, the
Denver Nuggets and the Golden State Warriors in the NBA.
